Misa Alegria

On Sundays, we celebrate the Holy Eucharist in Spanish at 5pm.

Misa Alegria, our Spanish-speaking congregation, formed in 2006. Many families and individuals -- including some with very limited spanish-speaking abilities -- are regular worshippers. EAch service is followed by a time for refreshments and fellowship.

Misa Alegria is led by The Rev. Sarabeth Goodwin, the Latino Missioner of St. Stephen's Church.

Each year, the Misa celebrates the Day of the Dead, building an ofrenda filled with momentos of departed loved ones. Here is what it looked like at the November 2009 service:
